SHOWCASING THE WORK OF OUR A-SCHOOL COMMUNITY

The annual A-School Alumni Exhibit is an opportunity to showcase and curate the work of the UVA School of Architecture alumni.

Established in 2016, the annual A-School Alumni Exhibit is made possible by the A-School Dean’s Forum. The Dean’s Forum is proud to showcase and celebrate the work of the A-School alumni community. Past exhibitions include:

SPACES OF DIPLOMACY (2017)

LIVING LEARNING: DESIGNING UNIVERSITY ENVIRONMENTS (2016)

THE NEXT 100 (2018)

The 2018 Third Annual A-School Alumni Exhibit anticipates the celebration of the School of Architecture’s upcoming 100th Anniversary (1919 – 2019), by commemorating the past, marking the present, and envisioning the future. At this critical moment in the school’s history, we called on our alumni to help to capture and tell the A-School’s unique and dynamic story, by reflecting back on their time at UVA and how it has impacted their careers and your life trajectories. This exhibition is a point in time; the collective A-School story is a continuously evolving construct. We welcome all our alumni to share in its formation.

Above you will find select images from the exhibition on display in Campbell Hall's East Wing Gallery until October 2018. This body of work will also be developed into an ongoing digital archive, allowing our alumni - both near and far - to share their reflections, experiences, and projects with each other online. If you missed the exhibition call but would like to participate, please email kimwong@virginia.edu as we plan to continue to build our collective story for the 100 year anniversary of the School of Architecture in 2019.
