All students admitted to the UVA School of Architecture Graduate Programs (Master of Architecture, Master of Architectural History, Master of Landscape Architecture, Master of Urban + Environmental Planning, and PhD in the Constructed Environment) are invited to join us for our upcoming in-person Open House. Attendees will meet department chairs, graduate program directors and deans, faculty, staff, and current students; learn more about our current projects and research initiatives; and have an opportunity to ask questions about the curriculum, opportunities, and the culture at the A-School.
Programming includes:
+ Dean's Welcome
+ Living as a Wahoo with current Student Ambassadors
+ Learning as a Wahoo with Program Chairs and Directors
+ Career Development Overview
+ Graduate Certificates (Historic Preservation, Real Estate Development and Design, and Urban Design) Overview
+ Funding your Graduate Education Information Session
+ Opportunities to tour and visit our spaces, including studios, fabrication labs, exhibitions spaces, and scholarship labs
+ "Material Realities" Showcase + Reception featuring faculty and student work on display, demonstrations, and talks; Meet and engage with our Associate Deans of Academics, JEDI, Research and Student Affairs during this reception
+ This program includes light breakfast, lunch, and optional dinner (with current graduate students, at a local Charlottesville restaurant from 6pm - 8pm)
