Biography

LaQuinta Spellman is a Charlottesville native with strong technical and customer service skills. She enjoys helping people and learning new things in order to better her expertise and abilities. She started as a Helpdesk Support Specialist at Region 10 Community Services Board and was there for two years. LaQuinta then went to the UVA Curry School of Education and Human Development where she supported faculty, staff, and researchers with their technical needs for 3 ½ years. Her hobbies include playing with her children, watching and playing sports, and enjoying time with family and friends.

At the School of Architecture, her responsibilities include:

  • Supporting A-School faculty, staff, and students with their technical needs by troubleshooting and research
  • Helping to sustain classrooms by providing maintenance to computer hardware and software and taking care of computer deployments
  • Providing A/V support in classrooms and labs
