Rebecca Cooper Coleman

Biography

As the Research Librarian for Architecture, Rebecca provides consultation, instruction and outreach to faculty and students in the School of Architecture, as well as to scholars doing interdisciplinary work with the constructed environment and visual resources. She also manages the Library's Materials Collection, which provides hands-on access to innovative and sustainable materials for design and building.

Rebecca is part of the UVA Library Arts & Humanities team. They provides outreach, research support, and instructional services, with a particular focus on the arts and humanities departments and programs in the College and the School of Architecture. They connect faculty, students and community scholars with library services and resources, provide instruction and research assistance in a variety of forms, support the development and maintenance of the library’s collections, and refer users to specialized expertise within and outside the library.
