DIRECTOR OF MAJOR GIFTS

Education

Bachelor of Arts, Political Science and Geography; West Virginia University

Biography

Rob Revitte is the Director of Major Gifts for the UVA School of Architecture and joins the Advancement team which builds philanthropic relationships with UVA alumni, families and friends. In this capacity, he guides philanthropic partnership with loyal members of the A-School community throughout the United States and abroad.

Prior to UVA, Rob has worked exclusively in higher education philanthropy, including most recently at the Maryland Institute College of Art and Johns Hopkins University. Early career experiences were Advancement positions at the University of Denver, Colorado School of Mines and Hiram College.

When he is not working, Rob is cheering for his son’s teams; cooking; enjoying live music (did see DMB at Trax!); enthusiastically volunteering for the Arthritis Foundation and supporting the ONE LOVE chapter at the local high school. Rob lives in Monkton, MD with his wife and teenage son.

Rob welcomes any chance to meet with individual benefactors to discuss their vision to impact a student's educational journey, faculty research and the School of Architecture's continued success. Rob works remotely, but schedules time every month to be on Grounds. He is happy to travel for in person meetings — to schedule a meeting, please reach out by phone (434-962-7558) or email (rrev2@virginia.edu).
