Biography
Cam is a designer and the founding director of “an Office — A garden”. He holds a Masters degree in Architecture from Columbia University GSAPP and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from UVA. Before starting “an Office — A Garden”, Cam worked at the Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) and FOOD New York, and has had work featured in PIN-UP, Dezeen, MIT Press, and Architectural Record. His work in collaboration with ASA North and Hobgood Architects received the Aga Khan Award for Architecture (2022) and Dezeen’s Building of the year (2022) by popular vote.
He has worked extensively with the Arctic Design Group and Kutonotuk, led by A-School professors Leena Cho and Matthew Jull, including projects such as the Atlantic Beach boardwalk and Contested Circumpolar: Domestic Territories, exhibited at the 17th Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia. He joins the Arch 3020 studio teaching team.
