Biography

Peter V. Daniel is a 1973 graduate of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Virginia, with concentration in English. His business career spanned four decades in corporate finance and investment management. He is the Founder and Principal of Highfield Management, a multifaceted asset manager which consults for endowments and individuals. His background in Architectural History began with Professor Nichols' courses at the School of Architecture and subsequently his second career as Lecturer and Development Principal at the Philip Johnson Glass House in New Canaan, Connecticut. He joined the School of Architecture's Development and Advancement team in fall 2024.
