Biography

Sean Kois is a landscape and architectural designer, with a professional background in the construction and landscape trades, as well as being a returned US Peace Corps Volunteer (Tonga, ’09 –’13). He holds a bachelor’s degree in anthropology, and a dual Master of Architecture and Landscape Architecture, all from UVA. His professional interests are broad, but presently focused on design and implementation of natural and nature-based infrastructure through regional scale methodologies. He is currently an ORISE Research Fellow with the US Army Corps of Engineers, and a Lecturer at the School of Architecture.
