Check-in is held in the main gathering space (Naug Lounge) on the 1st floor of Campbell Hall. Refreshments will be served, and optional tours of Campbell Hall are available. If you would like to go on a tour, arrive and check in around 8:00AM and no later than 8:30AM. If you do not plan to attend the tour, you may arrive and check in between 8:30AM - 9AM.

Walkthrough the studios to learn more about studio pedagogy at the A-School. Graduate 1st year foundation studios will be open to admitted students. Admitted students are encouraged to ask questions, view the work, listen to the discussion, and engage with faculty and students.

HYBRIDS SHOWCASE + RECEPTION

We invite you to join School of Architecture faculty, students, and staff for a reception that features a digital media showcase, titled Hybrids. A casual social gathering, the reception will bring together the A-School in community with one another.
Admitted students are encouraged to use this time to also meet and engage with our Associate Deans of Academics, JEDI, Research and Student Affairs.

DINNER (OPTIONAL)
Pavilion IX, UVA Lawn (walking distance from the School of Architecture)
You'll be joined by current students and faculty from each program for an informal dinner, fellowship, and conversation. Part of UVA's historic Academic Village, Pavilion IX is the home of Dean Malo A. Hutson and his family, and is a place where the School of Architecture gathers for special events and small seminars.
Dinner expenses are covered by the A-School.

Parking?
Parking is available at Culbreth Garage, 130 Culbreth Road, Charlottesville,VA 22903. The parking fee for registered attendees will be covered by the School of Architecture. Open House registrants will be emailed instructions on setting up a temporary parking pass free of charge.
Campbell Hall, home of the School of Architecture, is a short walk (exterior flight of stairs) from Culbreth Parking Garage. For accessibility needs, please contact a-school-admissions@virginia.edu.
