The School of Architecture invites you to join us for a number of virtually-hosted opportunities for our admitted graduate students throughout March. In addition, we welcome you to join us for our in-person Spring 2025 Graduate Open House for admitted students scheduled for Monday March 24, 2025 here in Charlottesville.

 

CALENDAR OF OPPORTUNITIES

The following content gives you a chance to hear from department chairs, faculty directors and staff, on topics of specific interest to admitted graduate students. Opportunities include both School-wide content and degree-specific content — we encourage you to tailor your engagement experience to your preferences and to join us for as many opportunities as possible to gain the widest exposure to our community and programs. GRADUATE OPEN HOUSE

Our in-person open house for admitted graduate students will include program overviews with Chairs and Faculty Directors, an opportunity to meet and talk with our Deans, and a chance to meet with current graduate students about opportunities they have experienced related to courses, research, teaching, and student life. 
Admitted students will be able to tour our spaces, studios, and fabrication labs.
Sessions on funding your education, career development, and graduate certificates will also be part of the programming.
The end of the program will include a reception and an optional dinner.
Light breakfast, lunch, light fare at the reception and (optional) dinner are included.

We invite our admitted graduate students from all degree programs to attend additional programming hosted by the School of Architecture, open to the public. These lectures, conversations, panels and gallery talks bring together emerging and established practitioners, thought-leaders, scholars and researchers who offer an exciting range of contemporary voices and perspectives on design and the built environment.
